Backpack Donation
For the past few years, Laredo Gateway Rotary has raised funds to support its annual Backpack Donation Project.
In conjunction with the Larga Vista Community Center, Laredo Gateway Rotary donates backpacks filled with school supplies to underprivileged children at Larga Vista's back-to-school Jamaica.
On an annual basis, Laredo Gateway Rotarians, with County Commissioner Wawi Tijerina and the Larga Vista Community Center Staff, prepare the back packs for distribution to the neighborhood children.
