We belong to an organization full of professionals, yet our only dress code is a pin that serves as a reminder that we are a spoke on a much bigger wheel. This spoke needs to be strengthened and thereby immersed in the needs of our community.
Khalil Gibran said, “ You often say, 'I would give, but only to the deserving. The trees in your orchard say not so, nor the flocks in your pasture. They give that they may live, for to withhold is to perish'". I challenge everyone this year, Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike, to see where you can be a gift to the world.
